IMA just for fun!

THese are just extra photos that we took at the IMA. Monica and I had a photo shoot together and then Kat took some of us. We had a ton of fun!!

IMA photos

Photo #1: This photo is of Monica, I took it on our Field trip to the IMA. It was a cloudy day and really over cast but with some editing it turned out really well. I think this photo is rule of thirds a little because she isn't in the center and is kind of in the third. I love this photo because i think Monica looks really pretty in this(although she doesn't think she does) photo I also love the color and how even though the house is really washed out it turned out to be really pretty and white and the green in her shirt really Pops!!! PHOTO#2  I also took this photo on our trip to the IMA and this photo shows repetition in the peddles on the flower and it is also in rule of thirds! I LOVE this photo because...i like the color in the flower and the green in the grass!! PHOTO#3  This photo I also took at the IMA. I took it at a bridge on the back side of the property. this photo applies to leading lines and framing for the road is a leading line and the bridge is framing the road and trees.  I love this photo because I really like the color of the fall trees and i like how the bridge looks antiqueish!                                                                                                                                                         

Back-lighting

Well, I took this photo on our photo day this week with our sub. It was really fun and i was just messing around with leaves and then  I found a heart leaf!! I decided to use my hand and make the photo more interesting and using it to shadow almost half of the leaf!! This photo is back-lighting because the sun is obviously shining through the leaf and the shadow is extracted or exaggerated! I love this photo because  I really like the color of the greens and blues! And I love the shadow of this photo! This is probably one of my favorite photos!

Back-Lighting

I took this photo a few weeks ago (with our back-lighting project in mind) at my brothers cross country meet!! It was a really cold day and the sun wasn't even shining that much, but i caught it at a good time to get the photo!! This photo shows back-lighting because the sun is shining in REALLY brightly on the right hand side!!! I really like this picture because i think it looks really christmasey and I love Christmas! I also really like how the colors pop! I also love the shadows and how noticeable they are!

stop motion

This photo is of kirsten and  i took it on our class photo day as well. this picture shows action because she is doing a jump rope and she is in the air and the rope is on the ground. they are both moving really fast and I personally think her shadow is in action.
I love this photo because ...I really like how the redness of the jump rope just really pops! I also love the color of her shoes and the action of the photo as well I think I did really well on this photo!
I think this photo falls into worms eye view a little bit because i am lower then her shoes;and her shoes are also in the thirdbecause they are not in the center of the photo! And on top of all that its vertical!!!

This photo shows action because Emage is throwing the football and they are both in stop motion! I took this photo on a sunny day when our class went out to take pictures for this project. Her hand is in action as well as the ball because they are both in action!
          I love this photo because....I love the color and the way her hand and the football are both super clear! I also love how the football is a ways away from her hand it looks like it is flying out of the picture.
          This photo falls into rule of thirds because her hand and the football are not centered in the photo; and worms eye view because I am looking up on her arm and the football and took the photo lower then she was throwing the ball; as well it is also a horizontal photo!!

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

stop motion week 1

 

I took this photo on photo day in our art class.

I love this photo because the basketball is barely in the air. 

I also like the color of the ball. This photo shows action because the ball is still 

moving and I caught it in action and it is also clear.

I took this photo this week when Monica came to my house before a volleyball game to do homework. She wanted me to do a cartwheel but i hurt my hand so she did one and I got the picture. This photo shows action because she is still in the air I really like her shadow I think it looks like a dog!! I like how it is clear and she i still in action!!

Repetition

 These pixi Sticks show repetition because there are a lot of pixi sticks together!!!

 The rulers show repetition because there is a lot of them together and to have repetition it doesn't need to be in a line as long as there is a multiple amount of the same object close to the same place. 

Framing photos

I took this photo at Turkey Run State Park. My family and I were hiking. The people towards the middle of the photo make it more interesting because they didn't know i was taking this photograph.  When I took this picture I was thinking "Well I need a picture of framing for photography class" and I really liked the colors when I was taking this photo.  When I look at this image now I think Hmm this is a really interesting photo.I really like this photo!                           

 

             

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                        

 

 

                                                                                                                                                    

Leading line

  This photo has a leading line because the stair rail leads you up to the top of the stairs.

This photo is leading lines because the chain leads you up to the sky!!!

the top photo is my birds eye view because it is looking down on the post.
the bottom photo is my worms because i really took the picture at the bottom of my house looking up to the top!

Rule of Thirds

 These photo applies to the Rule of Thirds because the acorn and feather are not directly in the center of the photos.
